Quick muscle gains for teens

These days, many teenagers aim for a fit body specially males. Why is there such a need for a fit body? First of all, all humans do need to have a healthy body and a fit body is parallel to that. And for teenagers, a fit body can increase their self-esteem and confidence. Some men think that a fit body can attract women more and we can’t deny that it is somewhat true. But before a teenager should dare try getting a fit body, there are many things that he/she should know. Here are some tips and facts to know on quickly gaining muscle for teens.

The first thing you should know is to avoid steroids. As a teenager, you have more than enough hormones for yourself. You don’t need steroids to increase your hormonal levels. Don’t get pressured if your friends tell you to try some. Just tell them that you don’t need it. This is the best path for you on your way to quickly gaining muscles.

Watch your diet. Most people just eat and eat until they get satisfied. You should avoid gaining such a bad habit. A habit, especially one that you had when you were young, is especially hard to get rid of. But you must concentrate. Forget those foods. Eat foods rich in carbohydrates like oatmeal, brown rice, fruits and vegetables. Also eat foods rich in protein like tuna, fish and chicken. You must also have some fats from olive oil, fish oil, fresh peanut butter and nuts. These foods are the best source of those minerals. Don’t eat foods like chips and chocolates. They may have those minerals, but most of the stuff you’ll get along with those foods is just worthless. At the very least, limit your intake of those kinds of foods.

You should avoid one body part workouts. What you aim for is a fit and balanced body. Because of that, you should do a full body workout. Since you are young, you must not distort your muscle groups. Each muscle group must have its own exercise in your one hour routine. In effect, your muscles will be balanced unlike others who have their arms look too big for their body. You don’t want to look like that for certain.

The first thing you must learn before even lifting weights is to learn the proper technique first. You should get a reliable fitness trainer to help you learn the basics. After covering the basics, you will understand that the money you used to pay your fitness trainer is worth it.

As you have an intense workout, you must also have an intense stretching. Most people believe that a few minutes of stretching would be fine. This is not true. Stretching has many benefits you need like lesser likelihood of getting an injury, having increased strength and have a quicker recovery. You must do stretching just as much as you workout.

You have to focus on bodyweight strength first. If you think you only need to lift heavy weights to gain that fit body, well think again. If you can’t do at least 40 push ups, 20 chin ups and 30 dips, then what’s the purpose of lifting all those bloody weight? These exercises focus on increasing your strength using only your bodyweight. Only when you can do these exercises properly can you advance to lifting weights.

Lastly, you must keep your workouts under an hour. While most people think using hours in the gym would let them gain muscles faster, you must realize what those people do. They like to look at the mirror and staring at their imaginary large muscles. The time you do a workout should only be under an hour. Your workout should be composed only the exercises and very short resting periods. This would let you gain more muscle strength faster than the others.

In conclusion, these tips are the things you need to understand if you want to gain muscles quickly. While the tips doesn’t really promise something like “gain muscles in four weeks”,  rest assured that following these tips would let you reach your goals faster.
